[ELCVIA] Small change to the Volume Publishing Schedule

2026-05-08

Due to a sustained increase in the number and quality of manuscript submissions received by us here at ELCVIA, the Editorial Board is pleased to announce that, beginning with the upcoming publication year (2026), ELCVIA will transition from publishing two volumes annually to three volumes annually. This development reflects the continued growth of the scholarly community served by the Journal and the expanding scope of research contributions within the field.

The decision to increase the publication frequency has been made in order to facilitate a more timely and efficient editorial and publication process while continuing to accommodate the growing volume of outstanding submissions. By publishing three volumes each year, each covering a four-month span of time, ELCVIA aims to reduce publication delays and enhance the dissemination of significant scientific findings to the academic community and broader readership.

ELCVIA remains firmly committed to upholding the highest standards of scientific rigor, editorial integrity, and peer-review. We extend our sincere appreciation to our authors, reviewers, editors, and readers for their continued trust, support, and valuable contributions, which have made this expansion possible.

Thank you very much for your attention regarding this matter.

Patxi Parraga of ELCVIA Team.
